Stevanovic signs with Etar

Slovenia World Cup player, Dalibor Stevanovic, has signed a contract with Etar to represent him.

The versatile 26-year-old midfielder who is sometimes used as a striker spent the last two seasons in the Dutch Eredivisie with Vittese.  His contract ended a month ago and he is now considering contract options for the next step in his career.  Several clubs have already made him contract offers and there are advanced discussions with several other clubs.

Dalibor Stevanovic started his career with Olimpia and later moved to Domzale with whom he finished second in the Slovenia Premier League twice.  His impressive performances in the UEFA Cup in 2005-2006 attracted interest from the big leagues in Europe and he was transferred in a record deal for Domzale to Real Sociedad in La Liga.

Later he moved to Alaves and after a short spell in Israel moved to the Netherlands where he spent the last two and a half seasons with Vitesse scoring 8 goals in 55 games.

He has been a member of the Slovenia National Team since 2006 including the World Cup in South Africa in 2010.
